Dtab isn't just an Drum TAB editor, it's also a Play Back tool. Play back allows you fine tune your rhythms audibly. So you can hear how the placement of every note changes the feel of your drum part. Which can be a lot of fun. Play Back has tempo control, so you can work as slow or fast as you like. Even have sections with different tempos, time signatures and od subdivisions like triplets. So you can really go crazy.
Dtab is not just for drummers though, it's intuitive enough that anybody can use it. You simply point and click.
